PATRON is proud to announce our participation in NADA NY 2016, featuring new works by Alex Chitty and Samuel Levi Jones.

ALEX CHITTY (b. 1979, Miami) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Chicago. While her portfolio ranges from photographic prints to sculpture, her current practice incorporates units and shelves, defined by their strong sculptural qualities and focus on display, which invite viewers to question both the materiality and presentation of an object. Chitty received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Smith College (MA) and a Master in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she is a professor and lecturer in the Sculpture and Print media departments. SAMUEL LEVI JONES (b. 1978 in Marion, IN) is an interdisciplinary artist working and living in Chicago, IL. Jones earned a B.A. from Taylor University, a B.F.A from Herron School of Art and Design in 2009 and an MFA from Mills College in 2012. Recent exhibitions include After Fred Wilson (2015) at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art and Unbound at the Studio Museum in Harlem, NY. Jones is the recipient of the 2014 Joyce Alexander Wein artist prize, awarded by the Studio Museum in Harlem. Jones' work is in the public collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Rubell Family Collection, Miami, FL, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA, and The Studio Museum in Harlem, NY.
