In collaboration with the copperplate printing workshop Printer’s Proof, the work of six Danish and international artists with the painterly aspect of copperplate printing is presented. What all the artists have in common - Ruth Campau (b. 1955 DK), Julie Sass (b. 1971 DK), Erin Lawlor (b. 1969 UK), Liat Yossifor (b. 1974 USA), Agathe de Bailliencourt (b. 1974 FR) and Birk Bjørlo (b. 1986 NO) - is that they have no previous experience with copperplate printing, which has given them the freedom to explore and experiment with the medium in collaboration with Printer’s Proof. They are all painters, and have very different approaches to painting. In the encounter with graphics and the explorations of intaglio printing, they have reinvented their artistic expression in general.

Printer’s Proof is a workshop, publishing house and gallery. It was founded by master printer Kell Johan Frimor and art historian Olga Zolin. All the works in the exhibition are kindly loaned by the workshop.
