PATRON presents our first solo exhibition with Mexico City–based artist Manuela García. Her debut exhibition at PATRON features site-specific sculptures and encaustic paintings that emerge from her exploration of the relationships between bodies, matter, and space through a philosophical engagement with the poetics of materials. Through tensions between light and shadow, form and material, García examines our relationship to the physical world and the ephemeral traces that bear witness to presence.
